BIO: 

Kadesha Smith is the founder and former CEO of  CareContent, Inc., a healthcare digital marketing agency. After 10 years of growth, CareContent was acquired in a cash deal by a larger marketing agency in March 2024.  

Prior to CareContent, Kadesha spent nearly 10 years in healthcare communications as an editor and freelance writer for various health systems in Chicago. Before that, she completed a Peace Corps assignment managing a teen clinic in Nicaragua, Central America. She has an undergraduate degree in journalism from Florida A&M University and a Master of Public Health from Tufts University School of Medicine. 

Since her “retirement” from CareContent, Kadesha has become a Certified Forest School Teacher and full-time homeschool mom. Outside of homeschooling and leading forest school camps, she is also part of the founding team for Meachum Village, a marriage ministry dedicated to helping Black American families use scripture to fix our history of broken homes.
