Announcing an Exciting Partnership: SUN Suite and Detailing Knights
Detailing Knights, an innovative mobile car cleaning service and business training program based in Canada (and soon in the United States), are joining forces with SUN Suite to deliver streamlined business training to young entrepreneurs. This partnership marks a significant step forward in their shared mission to empower youth through entrepreneurship.
The Minds Behind The Collaboration
Ryan O’Neil Knight is a Brampton-based entrepreneur and co-founder of the Afro-Caribbean Business Network (ACBN) Canada, which supports entrepreneurs of African and Caribbean heritage. He is also the founder of Detailing Knights.
As a recognized social enterprise, Detailing Knights blends environmental sustainability with economic opportunity—offering eco-friendly, waterless car cleaning services using plant-based products, while also training the next generation of entrepreneurs through its school program, Knighthood Academy.
With this program, Ryan mentors youth and helps them gain hands-on business experience using a microfranchising model. He advocates for practical pathways to entrepreneurship and works to close the mentorship gap for Black youth through both formal and informal approaches.
Detailing Knights Founder, Ryan O'Neil Knight, and StartingUp Now President, L. Brian Jenkins
Jenkins developed SUN Suite to provide practical, accessible resources for launching and growing sustainable businesses. Through their mutual passion of bringing entrepreneurial education to black youth and adults, they connected during the early days of StartingUp Now while Ryan was still a college student.
Through this collaboration, Detailing Knights will integrate SUN Suite’s all-in-one business training platform into its Knighthood Academy, enhancing its microfranchising program for high school and college students. SUN Suite will provide the digital infrastructure needed to help youth launch and manage their own Detailing Knights units.
