One of the special additions to Then, Now & Next was Vinyl Vybz Records, a curated vinyl record business founded by lifelong music lover, DJ, and collector Melvin Jefferson.
Built from more than 30 years of crate digging and a personal collection of over 4,000 records, Vinyl Vybz is rooted in a deep appreciation for music history and discovery. Known behind the turntables as Crate Digga Hash, Melvin has spent decades introducing audiences to timeless classics, hidden gems, and the rich stories found within every record.
Guests had the opportunity to browse a thoughtfully curated collection celebrating the artists, sounds, and musical legacy that inspired the evening's theme. Vinyl Vybz embodied the spirit of honoring the past while helping a new generation discover the music that continues to shape our culture.
