In honor of Juneteenth, Salesforce partnered with BOLDforce Chicago—its Black Employee Resource Group—to host an inspiring event focused on Black entrepreneurship, small business development, and economic equity.

The event featured a curated marketplace highlighting ten Black-owned businesses spanning diverse industries such as beauty, apparel, home goods, fitness, culinary arts, and coworking. Mox.E staff were on site, connecting with attendees and sharing valuable resources available to support entrepreneurs in their journeys.

A dynamic panel discussion explored how corporations can establish meaningful partnerships with Black-owned businesses. Conversations centered on the critical themes of access, collaboration, and sustained investment. Among the panelists was L. Brian Jenkins, President of Entrenuity, who contributed insights drawn from his extensive experience working with Black entrepreneurs. Panelists shared practical strategies for fostering equity and creating thriving business ecosystems.

This purpose-driven gathering was a powerful reminder of the ongoing work needed to drive inclusive economic growth—not just within Salesforce, but throughout the broader community.
