 |
 |
High school seniors only achieve an average score of 40% on basic economic literacy tests. We believe economic literacy is a necessary life skill and these skills can in part be turned around through educating youth in business practices and economics. When students learn to view themselves as participants within the economic system, then they are more likely to become more productive citizens. Learning the principles of entrepreneurship and business practices, integrated with the actual process of creating an enterprise, develops:
- Life and critical thinking skills
- Free-Market Participation
- Character Development
- Positive Self-Concept
