April 25, 2011--Meeting on the new legal structure: L3C
29-Mar-2011 I'd like to invite you to learn about a new legal structure in Illinois, the Low-Profit Limited Liability Company (L3Cs). This brief meeting is for anyone considering forming an L3C or concerned with the sustainability of the not-for profit model. Attorney Marc Lane, the author of the LC3 legislation, will be speaking on L3Cs, with an opportunity for questions after. There will also be food and drinks for purchase for Overflow Coffee Bar, one of the first L3Cs in Illinois. There will be an opportunity to network with other L3Cs after the presentation.Meeting Time: 6:30-8:00 pm CST
